In a school classroom, somewhere in the Balkans…
We are the light-bearing descendants of our bright ancestors, throughout the three millenia of our historical trajectory.
In history there are the good, the bad, and the ugly. We are certainly the good ones, our neighbours are the bad ones, and the ugly are the third countries, the ones who turn the blind eye on every injustice that we are forced to endure.
In the exceptional cases where the ugly actually change their attitude, they do it in order to conspire against us.
We are more patriotic than our neighbours. Our neighbours are more nationalistic than us.
We have inalienable historical rights. Our neighbours are only irredentists.
Our wars have only been defensive…
Any alternative version of the above is either:
- a product of conspiracy by (some unknown) malevolent powers against us, or
- the tangible proof of the corrosive work of the “internal enemy”.

Alright children, hope you’ve understood what this lesson about our Nation’s history is about. Put a blank piece of paper on your desks, we’re writing a test…
